As almost every year now I'm spending my summer in the Philippines. The wifi is so proud of himself he doesn't even let us see him, he's literally nowhere to be found lol. Like seriously I'm weaned from my internet addiction! XD

But as I can't use my computer I've drawn this with my comics but it looks terrible lol, I have to wean myself from computers now lol! That'll be for next time maybe...

Hope you loved your summer
Love ya all, if anybody is reading this :-)

Aug 11th. Good Bye Y. Adieu Y.

Hello everybody,

It's been a while isn't it.
I'm sorry I come here only when I need it, not when I should.
Last week one of my good friends passed away. Y.
He was 26.
He died in a car accident in which he wasn't even at fault.
He got crushed, literally, by a truck who's driver was asleep, or texting. He didn't say. The driver in question just said he "didn't realize", he didn't realize he was going full speed toward a stationary car, a car stopped due to a traffic jam. He didn't all the traffic jam. That's hat he said.

The day after we went to Y.'s funeral. When we entered the enormous room I felt overwhelmed. The room was full of white flowers arranged in beautiful patterns. In the middle, a huge picture of Y., half smiling, as always.

Y. was this cold blooded, cynical, hilarious, comical, witted boy. He always had a rictus on his face when he commented on things, and always had a ironical and derisive but still very accurate remark to make.

The last time I met Y. was at Soso's 1st year birthday party, where Shun me and Y. promised each other to have dinner together anytime soon, as we didn't have the chance to talk as we wished we could that day.

Since then I feel like an empty shell. The day of his funeral, I couldn't stop my tears and couldn't wipe then away as I was holding sleeping Solo in my arms.

In front of his coffin I was thinking: "So, that's it? That's how people go? As simply as that? On the road to work? That's how people leave? Without a goodbye? Without a speech? Without a second chance? As simple as that?"

I couldn't stand seeing his pale face in the coffin, that wasn't him, that couldn't be him! Under that think white make up, that's just an empty carcass, no way it is our friend.

His mother told us that his body down his knees was gone, smashed, ripped, and that they had a hard time concealing his face's wounds under the make up.

Then we went back home.

And I've been dreaming of Y. since then, everyday. I'm talking to him, every night. I don't know if I'm  still sane or not, but it seems that there's maybe more to him than just being dead.
Maybe he just has been downloaded to another layer of this same world.

5/21 Au mauvais endroit au meilleur moment

J’ai la gorge qui me démange toujours,
Ça doit être mon manque d’amour...
Mais non ça n’a rien à voir!
Je me dis ça tous les soirs.
Mais je préfères quand tu m’enlaces,
C’est plus facile, plus efficace,
Que cette tristesse si tenace,
Que ce coeur rempli de crasse,
Que cette sentence qui me dépèce, qui me dépasse,
Qui me rabaisse, qui me menace,

11/15 DAY 2: Riverboating on the Kumano river, Wakayama.

First thing, we got the chance to riverboat down the magnificent Kumano river, our guide, storyteller as well as flute player guided us through this no-bridge river which goes all the way from Shingu to Hongu.

We've listened and been enchanted by her emperors and empresses stories and by the flute she played. We even had a break in the middle of the trip to meet up with the nature down the road! Such a lovely and unforgetable experience

Accompagning us to the boat, as back to the good old times

Starting the ride

Listening to the guide's storytelling

That small boat's captain was, 96 years old according to what I've heard! As genki-funky as can be :)
Meeting with the rocks half way!

Just climbed onto it!

The lovely scenery around

Playing flute half way, surrounded by calm and quiet nature

11/15 DAY 1: Discovering the fantastic Shingu, prefecture of Wakayama.

Have you ever visited the cities of Kumano and Shingu, in the prefecture of Wakayama?

Recently, an Australian girl originally from Taiwan and I, have had the chance to participate in a project aiming at conveying the power and the importance of that region abroad. The first step was to discover the region ourselves!
we started off with the city of Shingu, where temples are closely linked to the city and are part of everyone's lives.

We first had to take the plane from Haneda airport, Tokyo, to Nanki-shirahama airport in Wakayama. No need to say I've had to run the marathon to catch up my plane at 8am at Haneda airport when the day before it took me until late in the evening to be able to leave work. Good thing we were all travelling light! For the anecdote, I wasn't even aware at that time, but I was already 2 months pregnant... :o) And you'll see that running all the way from my bed to the plane's gate wasn't the only adventurous move we made through the trip!

On the way to Shingu, beautiful and promising sceneries.
After arriving to Wakayama by plane, we rode a car until our final destination: Shingu.

The tourist office of Shigu
Our very first step! A very friendly staff who will help you with almost anything! :)
Find them here:
6 Ukijima, Shingū-shi, Wakayama-ken 647-0014, Japan

A break in the middle of our ascension to Kamikura-jinja Shrine
We've got a very friendly guide following us through the 538 (nobody knows) steps to Kamikura-jinja Shrine. Luckily nobody felt off the stairs! (We heard that it happened a few times in the past...)

Kamikura-jinja Shrine and the Gotobiki-iwa Rock

Up the stairs, you'll reach the imposing Gotobiki-iwa Rock, where the Gods of Kumano are supposed to have first stepped.

Amazing view on Wakayama from Kamikura-jinja Shrine

Going down, surprisingly harder than going up! (well, not this flat part, the sloped next part!)

Praying at the Kumano Hayatama-taisha Grand Shrine

We then reached our second destination, the Kumano Hayatama-taisha Grand Shrine, which was Grand indeed! The place was beautiful and so relaxing.
In front of the Asuka-jinja Shrine
We then went on to visit the Asuka-jinja Shrine. On of the smallest shrines but also one of the most important one! I was the very first temple in the region linking all the others together. It also newly , in 2016, became part of the World Heritage 'Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range'. It's particularity is that you don't need to wander the mountain to find, it's right there, in the middle of the city!

If you're interested about the Shrines and how to access them, find all the information about the Shrines described above in French at :

We helped translate and write the above website with the team in charge of Kumano's tourism, so don't hesitate to check it out!

The restaurant Nomikuidokoro Kichi
And as we did nothing but eat, we ended up here first: At the restaurant Nomikuidokoro Kichi. We were so tired we just eat all that delicious food in no time.

The delicious mix of Japanese food, Occidental food, and the chef's specials!
With the owner and chef of Nagomiba Kuishinbo
We then went on to the restaurant Nagomiba Kuishinbo, which owner was extremely knowledgeable about alcohols and their mariage with different food. More info about Kuishinbo at https://www.shinguu.jp/fr/spots/detail/C0036

With the lovely couple managing the DAYZYLAW CAFÉ
We finally finished our evening at the DAYZYLAW CAFÉ, managed by a very nice couple who used to live in Australia. The restaurant is an original and stylish mix of Japanese and Australian dished. The whole in restaurant with a very pop and natural atmosphere! More info about DAYZYLAW CAFÉ at https://www.shinguu.jp/fr/spots/detail/C0042

2/15 Australia, Sydney

Hi everyone!

I'm back, half for myself, half because I must.
The last months of 2016 have been, I have to say, pretty messed up I have to say. Never in my life I have felt so lost, and paradoxically this was maybe due to the quantity of choices I had back then.
I am the kind of person who can't walk on a straight, worst, I'm the kind person who wouldn't be able to have the luxury or being able to freely decide on either to go let or right. Unfortunately I'm that kind of person who needs a wall, a big thick wall in the middle of my road, to know that I have to break it, to get over it, to get rid of it. Straight ways only scary me to a point I almost can't describe with words. I feel powerless, useless, meaningless. I feel lost when my life gets easy, mapped out. This what happened to me the last months.

We stayed at the Quay West Suites Sydney, here the view on the bay from our window

View from the Quay West Suites Sydney, starring the both of us

An amazing wall art close to Chinatown

Walking around the harbour

Before changing drastically my life (I'll tell you about later :-) ) I went to Sydney, Australia for the first time. Here I'll share a few of the pictures with you!

10/2 - -- --- Emmerger --- -- -

Bonjour

Pourquoi

L’or lui reste, fier, inchangeant, toujours demandé, toujours précieux, toujours souhaité et convoité.

06/08 One more year! 29 Springs :)

To the 286 people from whom I've received Birthday mails and messages in 8 languages, during 3 days (thanks to the time difference -partly-) from France, Great-Britain, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, The Philippines, Taiwan, China, Hong-Kong, Palestine, Tunisia, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Turkey, The United States, Mexico, Canada, Amsterdam, Australia, New Caledonia, Tahiti and Hawaii.
GUYS YOU JUST ROCK !!

You're that very nice gravity that helps me keep my feet on the ground sometimes and fly some other times. You're sometimes pure oxygen as well as laughing gas. You're just so cool.
This year I've not only grown up once but Three times. I'm on the last year of my 20's, I've became (twice in a row!) an aunt for my birthday, and I'll be moving to Dubai at the end of the summer. And as much as those changes can sound radical I can say I'm very happy to grow up, luck is luck as soon as you decide to call it that way yourself. Don't let your happiness be the bastard of your feeling because you don't wanna name it. Acknowledge every single moment of happiness, or luck God, life, nature gave you, At least that's what I've setting my heart on from now!
So, to all of you, in all your effing beautiful languages:

THANK YOU!

04/30 2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2 Shooting and Test drive. 【Sport Modeling 】

Dira-t'on.

Go pro à l'arrière installée

Superbe carrénage, avant simple moderne et insicif.

At the beginning of June I've had an offer from a Taiwanese Motor Bike Magazine for a Test Ride of the  New Kawasaki H2. Thanks to a Taiwanese friend I used to work with in the past.
The bike itself will only been released on July 2015 but the team managed to get it earlier for the review.

With Li Yubin, the friend to how I owe that experience !

That was such a great experience, and my first time riding such a powerful and fast bike. The team was awesome and very professional. We also had a technical problem they could fix in the spot. 流石!

About to ride the H2 for the very first time.

With my fellow Taiwanese rider.

A few laps to test the engine.

Supposed to be "the pose of the moment" in Taiwan. :)

Such a great time I've spent. Really wish I'll have the chance to do Sport Modeling again!! ^_^

03/31 NHK's broadcasting 「テレビでフランス語」's kick off !

Hello everyone ! Sakura time !

This is Olfa, how have you been?
Here comes April, my favorite time of the year, when the weather starts to get warmer, the flowers blooms and the sky turns blue...Okay this is not always true, but let's stick to what our  imagination arbitrarily dictates sometimes.

And I'm sure if you're living in Japan, April is your favorite time of the year too!  Because when I spoke about blooming flowers I was of course referring to the pink Sakura, the cherry-trees blossom, which are famous for turning all Japan pink  at the beginning of the spring.

This is really a blessing to be able to see, even if only for a week, the whole city turned pink by beautiful petals floating at the whim of the wind ....

This beautiful season also marks the starts of studies for the students, work for new employees and it is also a season when people like to kick off new things and try themselves to new challenges!

For this I myself would like to let you know about a new endeavour in my life

Starting from tonight April the 1st 00:00 to 00:25, I'll be presenting the French show (テレビでフランス語) on NHK (NHK Educational on channel 2) and I'm really excited about that !
(Starting on April the 1st does not make it an "April fool" )

An "avant-premiere" from the 3rd episode :)

There will be two broadcatings per week:
◎ Tuesdays evening from 00:00 to 00:25 (so actually Wednesday morning)
◎ Thursday mornings from 06:00 to 06:25!
For the ones abroad, you may also watch on the cable TV, if you're interested (interested in French culture or just out of curiosity.)

Hope you'll enjoy the weather getting warmer!

Cheers !
Love,

Olfa

1/3 Chant G

Je ne suis plus la même,
Je n'ai même plus d'âme, même.

Que quand? Qu'avant? Biensur,

-Quoi??

-Laisse tomber. Quand tu as fini on y va.
